Active Schools is delighted to partner with the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) to offer ongoing professional development for Active Schools Champions.

If you are committed to building an active school culture in your school, consider enrolling in SES 513- Active Schools: Evidence-Based Strategies for Physical Education and Physical Activity. The course is an introduction to quality physical education and evidence-based physical activity programming before, during, and after the school day. There are two options to participate: 

Option #1 (FREE for Registered Active Schools Champions): Earn a certificate for 18 hours of continuing education credit. Complete the 6-module, self-paced asynchronous online course in 6-18 weeks. Enroll using this link.

Option #2 ($70 Graduate Credit): Earn 1-credit of graduate-level coursework from UNC that could be applied to a master’s degree. Complete the 6-module, self-paced asynchronous online course in 6-18 weeks between August 22nd and December 23rd. Enrollment deadline is October 31st. Register today using this link.
