25 Elementary Schools Receive Playworks Power of Play Workshop Grants

In February 2017, Playworks teamed up with Let’s Move! Active Schools to provide grants for 25 elementary schools to benefit from a free Playworks Power of Play workshop. Nearly 150 schools submitted thoughtful applications expressing their interest and desire to learn more about safe and healthy play resulting in a difficult selection of this year’s grantees:

Manorhaven Elementary School – New York

Marion Elementary School – Texas

Montclair School of Academics-Enrichment – Colorado

Mount Washington Elementary School – California

Murdock Elementary School – Georgia

Ramblewood Elementary School – California

Section Elementary School – Wisconsin 

Thomas Finletter Elementary School – Pennsylvania

Westfield Elementary School – Utah
