Making Physical Activity a Priority

By transitioning from sports-focused to fitness-focused Physical Education, Sierra Vista offered its students more variety – resulting in increased API scores, less absentees and an entire community that supports physical activity. Students at Sierra Vista agree that they are more focused after PE and that their concentration levels are boosted after physical activity during class.

Watch how Sierra Vista’s staff and students make physical activity a priority throughout the school day.
